North Atlantic Belt
North Atlantic Belt
There are places on this earth which seem to exist outside of time. Shadows of the past. Standing still for an eternal moment before moving on in the Flow of the Tides. Landscapes like memories, sculpted by permanent change, gigantic cliffs over volcanic stones and ashes, covered by green meadows and slopes. Scenes of the Vikings and their descendants breeding sheep, fishing, hunting birds and whales, and finally limiting their population to stay alive at such places behind time.
These are the locations Karls art age expeditions are exploring between Newfoundland, Greenland, Iceland, Scotland and Ireland, Norway and Svalbard with The Faroe Islands in the middle as The Heart of the North Atlantic.
